Tiny church

“Tiny Church” draws inspiration from the local environment in northern tip of Nordhavn, including alternative modular housing forms and sheds for boat repair. The design is a modern take on a church that can also be used for other purposes, such as meetings and communal dining. The project includes a flexible, modular indoor space and an iconic roof that extends over an outdoor terrace. The roof protects the modules from overheating and rain. The design is functional and sustainable, with modular construction that allows for disassembly and reuse in another location. Materials are primarily bio-based, there are no cast building parts, elements and plates are fixed with screws and are designed with the most possible repetitions.
